AMOR to host Alabama Coffee Fest on February 23; Alabama Coffee Fest is back with Alabama’s favorite coffee shops and roasters, plus baked goods
The Alabama Coffee Fest multicultural event will feature over 10 specially curated roasters and coffee shops that will share with patrons unique beans and flavor profiles with live entertainment.
New in 2019: Morning and afternoon sessions for unlimited coffee tasting.
This is a fun environment for true coffee enthusiasts with a strictly limited ticket capacity.
Alabama coffee vendors will host live demonstrations. In between unlimited coffee tastings you can check out live latte art creations, Cahaba Brewery's large beer selection, and taste local bake shop pastries.
Local bake shop pastries will be available for purchase at the Alabama Coffee Fest. No ticket required to purchase pastries.
Birmingham, AL. — AMOR (Alabama Multicultural Organization) will be hosting the Alabama Coffee Fest event on Sat., February 23 in Birmingham from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will be held at Cahaba Brewing Company’s spacious indoor brewery that will include over 10 local coffee roasters will offer unlimited coffee tastings to ticket holders, 5 bakeries will have pastries, chocolate, and bagels for purchase, donuts, and live local musicians.
The Alabama Coffee Fest is Alabama Multicultural Organization’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from this event are a significant source of funding for our future multicultural center that includes art, music, dance, film and theater education programs. We are a non-profit whose acronym AMOR stands for Alabama Multicultural Organization. Our vision is to engage people in embracing diversity and cultures through our unique ability to see opportunities in communities where we live, learn, and play so that we can have a better understanding of the beauty of life through arts, culture, and education.
The coffee fest will feature more than 12 local coffee shop and roasters: Revelator Coffee Company • Notable Coffee • Filter Coffee Parlor • Baba Java Roaster & Cafe • Banjo Coffee • Bigbee Coffee Roasters • Seeds Coffee • Domestique Coffee • Tropicaleo • Confucius Institute of Troy University (Tea) • Piper and Leaf Tea Co • Good Morning Coffee Company. Including 6 local bakery shops that will offer pastries, chocolate, and bagels for purchase, including: Tropicaleo • Homewood Bagel Company • Match Chocolate • Michelle's Chocolate Lab • Cookie Dough Magic • Happy Carts • Girl Scout Troop 30148 • Highland Gourmet Scones.
Our dairy sponsor, Working Cows Dairy, will donate 20 gallons of certified organic whole milk from their farm located in Slocomb, Alabama and Blue Spring Living Water from Blountsville, Alabama will provide the natural spring water offering a better coffee tasting experience.
Set at Cahaba Brewing Company, a Birmingham brewery, located in the Historical Continental Ginon with a taproom that offers a window looking into the production facility, a covered patio, and ample parking.
Alabama Coffee Fest tickets range from $15 - $60. Early Bird pricing will be available until February 22, with prices increasing the day of the coffee fest. Tickets grant guests access to unlimited coffee tasting and live music, plus pastries, chocolate, and bagels that are additional options available for purchase.
Volunteers from around the State of Alabama will help put the finishing touches to the venue the day of the event similar to a pop-up event in which we will have one day to set-up and breakdown.

The most important touchpoint for this event is the value in our community. As Participants of society and being able to reflect and commemorate our various cultures represented in the State of Alabama.
Future multicultural center planned
With the World Games coming to Alabama in 2021, AMOR will be focused on opening up a multicultural center in the city of Birmingham. It will incorporate Arts, Culinary, Music, Dance, Theater, and Film as a way to create opportunities for diversity, inclusion, and culture through education programs.
The new multicultural center will provide visitors with a taste of the State of Alabama and its many cultural aspects. Our vision is to expose community members, local and state organizations along with nonprofits, clubs, schools, and universities to cultural and art experiences.
